Afghanistan, March 29 -- Turkey's intelligence chief has warned that the war involving Iran, Israel and the United States risks expanding into a dangerous global crisis.

Ibrahim Kalin, the head of Turkey's intelligence agency, has warned that the ongoing war involving Iran, Israel and the United States is moving toward becoming a much wider international crisis.

Speaking on Saturday at a gathering in Istanbul, Kalin said the conflict could evolve into a war for which "eight billion people" may ultimately pay the price, underscoring Turkey's alarm over the pace of escalation.
