Afghanistan, March 24 -- Hakan Fidan and Johann Wadephul held a telephone conversation to discuss the ongoing war involving Iran, focusing on diplomatic efforts to end the escalating conflict.

According to reports, the talks reviewed attempts to halt the war launched by the United States and Israel against Iran since February 28, as tensions continue to rise across the region.

The conflict has resulted in significant civilian casualties, with UNICEF reporting that around 206 children have been killed in Iran amid the recent fighting, highlighting the humanitarian toll.
