Afghanistan, June 22 -- U.S. President Donald Trump renewed warnings to Iran as American and Iranian negotiators opened a new round of talks in Switzerland, saying the outcome of the negotiations would shape future relations between the two countries and cautioning that Washington had other options if diplomacy failed.
Speaking as negotiations continued in the Swiss resort of Burgenstock, Trump reiterated U.S. concerns over Iran's nuclear activities, regional influence and maritime security. He also stressed the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz and said the United States would act to ensure freedom of navigation if commercial shipping were threatened.
