Afghanistan, Oct. 7 -- U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he plans to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin soon about the death of a laboratory worker in Siberia that has raised concerns over a possible case of pneumonic plague.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said the call with Putin would take place "very soon" and that U.S. intelligence agencies were closely examining the incident. He said Washington would provide more information about the case as its assessment develops.
