Afghanistan, July 14 -- US President Donald Trump said Monday that Iran's Kolang Gazla mountain nuclear facility could be targeted in a future American military strike, signaling the possibility of further escalation as US forces continued a third consecutive night of attacks on Iranian military infrastructure.

Speaking to the conservative Salem News Network, Trump said the United States has extensive intelligence on Iran's nuclear program and suggested the entrance to the underground facility could be struck.

"We have intelligence visibility with our special forces and every other capability on Iran's nuclear facilities," Trump said. "Kolang is one of the potential targets. It could receive a major strike right at its entrance."
