Afghanistan, Aug. 2 -- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he had suspended a planned military strike against Iran after what he described as requests from Tehran and several Middle Eastern countries, provided a rapid agreement is reached to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and address concerns over Iran's nuclear programme.
