Afghanistan, June 4 -- U.S. President Donald Trump said negotiations between Washington and Tehran are progressing "very well" and that an agreement could be reached in the coming days.
Speaking at the White House, Trump said a deal was not yet certain but could potentially be finalized by the end of the week.
"It could happen, or it might not happen, but if it does, it will probably be over the weekend," Trump said, according to Al Jazeera.
He added that "anything can happen" in negotiations with Iran but described the current atmosphere of the talks as positive.
