Afghanistan, April 25 -- Donald Trump says Iran may present proposal meeting US demands as US and Iranian envoys prepare for negotiations in Islamabad.

Donald Trump said Iran is preparing a proposal aimed at meeting key American demands, ahead of expected renewed negotiations involving both sides in Pakistan.

Speaking to Reuters on Friday, Trump said he had not yet seen the details but insisted any deal must include halting uranium enrichment and ensuring free flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz.

He also said US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to travel to Islamabad for talks with an Iranian delegation as diplomatic engagement intensifies.
