Afghanistan, May 31 -- U.S. President Donald Trump said any agreement with Iran must meet Washington's conditions, while senior American officials warned that military action remains an option if ongoing negotiations fail to produce a deal.
According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), Trump is expected to make a final decision on a proposed agreement aimed at extending the current ceasefire and advancing negotiations over Iran's nuclear programme and broader regional issues. U.S. officials said the president would only approve an agreement that prevents Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon and serves American strategic interests.
