Afghanistan, Sept. 21 -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he will meet U.S. President Donald Trump this week on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, as Washington intensifies diplomatic efforts to reduce hostilities between Ukraine and Russia and restart peace negotiations.
The meeting, expected during Trump's two-day visit to the UN General Assembly, follows a phone call between the two leaders on Sunday. Zelensky described the planned talks as a meeting that "could change a lot," citing what he called growing diplomatic momentum around efforts to end the war.
