Afghanistan, July 1 -- Saudi Arabia ranked highest among the Group of 20 economies for residents' sense of personal safety in 2025, according to new figures released by the General Authority for Statistics using data from the United Nations.
The statistics, published on Tuesday, showed that 97.7% of people living in Saudi Arabia said they felt safe walking alone in their neighborhoods at night. The report also found that 94.9% of women, 97% of Saudi citizens and 97.2% of people aged 60 to 64 reported feeling secure during nighttime travel in residential areas.
