Afghanistan, June 27 -- Russian drone attacks killed at least three civilians and wounded more than a dozen others in southern and southeastern Ukraine, local officials said on Friday, as Moscow continued its aerial campaign while diplomatic efforts to end the war remain stalled.
According to a Reuters report published on Friday, two passengers aboard a minibus were killed and 12 others, including two children, were injured when a Russian drone struck the city of Nikopol in Ukraine's southeastern Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Regional Governor Oleksandr Hanzha said the attack targeted Nikopol, a city on the banks of the Dnipro River that has been repeatedly shelled and attacked by Russian forces because of its proximity to the front line.
