Afghanistan, July 29 -- Russia has issued an arrest warrant for Telegram founder Pavel Durov and is seeking his detention through international legal channels, accusing him of failing to remove content allegedly used by extremist groups and Ukrainian intelligence services, according to Russian authorities.
Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) said Durov is wanted on charges linked to Telegram's alleged refusal to delete content that officials claim was used by "Ukrainian special services, terrorist organizations and extremist groups" to coordinate sabotage, terrorist attacks, mass killings and cyber fraud inside Russia, Reuters reported on Wednesday.
