Afghanistan, June 3 -- Russia has banned five British citizens, including two journalists, from entering the country, accusing them of promoting anti-Russian narratives and supporting British policies against Moscow.
Russia's Foreign Ministry said the measure was taken in response to what it described as anti-Russian statements by British officials, media reporting hostile to Russia, and London's continued military support for Ukraine.
Among those barred from entering Russia are Catherine Belton, an investigative reporter for the Washington Post, and Richard Holmes, a security correspondent for the British newspaper, the i Paper.
