Afghanistan, Aug. 10 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Afghanistan and Pakistan cooperated with Tehran during the recent conflict by taking measures to prevent people from using their territories to cross into Iran and create unrest.
Speaking at a meeting in Tehran marking Iran's National Journalists' Day, Pezeshkian said both countries had deployed groups to monitor their borders and had made clear that their territory would not be used to infiltrate Iran.
"Pakistan is now cooperating with all its might. Afghanistan is also cooperating very well," Pezeshkian said, adding that other neighbouring countries had also provided varying levels of assistance.
