Afghanistan, Feb. 27 -- Pakistan says Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq targeted terrorist threats, warning of decisive action if cross-border provocations continue.
Pakistan's Foreign Ministry spokesman Tahir Andrabi said the military campaign known as "Ghazab-ul-Haq" was launched in response to what he described as provocations originating from Afghan territory.
Andrabi stated that the operation inflicted heavy losses on what he called terrorist groups and was conducted under Pakistan's right to self-defense to safeguard national and regional security. He warned that any further provocations would trigger a firm response.
