Afghanistan, June 28 -- Pakistan's military said security forces killed 15 suspected militants during intelligence-based operations in the provinces of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Pakistan's military, eight militants were killed in two separate operations in Balochistan, while seven others were killed during an operation in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The operations were carried out between June 25 and 27 based on intelligence about militant movements, Pakistani newspaper Dawn reported.
Security forces said weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered during the operations, while clearance operations remained underway to locate other suspected militants in the affected areas.
