Afghanistan, April 14 -- Local sources said Pakistani forces carried out fresh rocket attacks on Monday evening targeting areas in Asadabad in Kunar Province, forcing residents to flee their homes.

According to the sources, the villages of Kochi, Shahbaz, and Koremar were hit in the latest strikes, though there are no confirmed reports of casualties so far.

The attacks follow similar rocket fire reported a day earlier in the Shali valley of Khas Kunar District, suggesting an intensifying pattern of cross-border shelling.
