Afghanistan, Oct. 8 -- Pakistan has confirmed that its military forces are already stationed in Saudi Arabia as part of a decades-old defence relationship, amid the activation of a new trilateral defence agreement with Saudi Arabia and Turkiye.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, director general of Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said Pakistani forces were already present in Saudi Arabia with capabilities across multiple military domains. He said the deployment was rooted in the longstanding defence and security relationship between Islamabad and Riyadh.
