Afghanistan, June 20 -- Islamabad and Tehran have expressed concern over reported violations of the Lebanon ceasefire as diplomatic efforts continue to advance the recently signed US-Iran agreement aimed at reducing regional tensions and opening a new phase of negotiations.
Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said Friday that Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed regional developments during a telephone conversation. According to the ministry, Dar expressed hope that the next phase of negotiations between Tehran and Washington would proceed smoothly and contribute to broader regional stability.
