Afghanistan, May 13 -- Mohammad Sadiq and Gemma Huggins have discussed the presence of international militant groups in Afghanistan and the security threats they pose to the region and the wider world.
Sadiq said in a post on X on Tuesday that the two sides discussed the activities of around 20 international militant groups allegedly operating inside Afghanistan. He said the groups represented a threat not only to regional countries but also to global security.
The Pakistani envoy also welcomed Australia's recent decision to designate the Baloch Liberation Army as a terrorist organization.
The discussions come amid rising tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan's Taliban authorities over cross-border attacks and militant activity. Paki...
