Afghanistan, July 30 -- One worker was killed after an Iranian attack struck a building belonging to a Chinese company in northern Kuwait, Kuwait's Defence Ministry said on Thursday, as the widening US-Iran conflict continues to affect Gulf states.

Kuwaiti Defence Ministry spokesperson Brig. Gen. Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi said the attack caused significant damage to the building and that authorities had begun taking the necessary measures. He said Kuwait's armed forces would continue efforts to protect the country's sovereignty and security.
