Afghanistan, March 15 -- Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, supervised a test involving 12 multiple rocket launchers with a diameter of 600 millimeters, according to state media reports published Saturday.
The state-run Korean Central News Agency reported that the rockets struck a target island in the East Sea with what it described as "100 percent accuracy," highlighting the country's expanding missile capabilities.
At the same time, the military of South Korea said North Korea launched more than ten ballistic missiles toward the East Sea, with the projectiles flying about 350 kilometers after being fired from an area near Pyongyang.
