Afghanistan, March 31 -- Pakistani security forces killed nine militants during a search operation at a government school in Khyber district, after armed men briefly seized the building and raised their own flag.
Security sources said the operation took place on Monday at Khwaja Mir Khel Government School in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where militants reportedly entered the compound, removed Pakistan's national flag and hoisted their own before security forces responded.
A video circulating on social media appeared to show the armed men inside or near the school compound, highlighting the symbolic and provocative nature of the incident in a region already facing repeated militant violence.
