Afghanistan, June 23 -- Zohran Mamdani has criticized the continuing violence in Gaza, saying more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire announced earlier this year and describing the situation as "immoral."
Speaking in a television interview on Monday, Mamdani said children continue to be killed on a near-daily basis in Gaza despite international calls for restraint. He also referred to the death of an Al Jazeera journalist in an Israeli airstrike, arguing that the humanitarian situation remains deeply concerning.
