Afghanistan, May 24 -- Axios reported Saturday that Benjamin Netanyahu urged Donald Trump to restart military strikes against Iran amid ongoing negotiations over a possible ceasefire framework.

According to Axios, Netanyahu is concerned about a draft agreement currently under discussion between Washington and Tehran, while several regional leaders have reportedly encouraged Trump to pursue a diplomatic settlement.

The report said Trump held calls with leaders from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey and Pakistan to discuss the potential agreement with Iran.
