Afghanistan, March 8 -- Israel's Ministry of Health of Israel said at least 1,929 people have been taken to hospitals since Iran began missile and drone attacks following joint strikes by the United States and Israel.
According to the ministry, 157 people were admitted to hospitals within the past 24 hours alone, as emergency services across Israel responded to repeated missile alerts and air raid sirens.
Officials said nine of the injured remain in critical condition, while 42 are in moderate condition and about 70 others suffered minor injuries requiring medical treatment.
