Afghanistan, Aug. 4 -- Kazakhstan has sharply increased grain exports to Afghanistan over the past year, with shipments rising 57 percent as Afghanistan expands trade links with Central Asian countries following disruptions in traditional supply routes.
Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture said the country exported 2.4 million tonnes of grain to Afghanistan from September last year until now, representing a significant increase compared with the same period a year earlier.
