Afghanistan, June 11 -- Kabul summoned Pakistan's charge d'affaires after airstrikes reportedly killed 13 civilians, including children, in eastern Afghanistan.
Afghanistan's Taliban-led Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday it had summoned Pakistan's charge d'affaires in Kabul to protest what it described as violations of Afghanistan airspace and deadly airstrikes on civilian areas.
In a statement, the ministry said Pakistani military forces carried out attacks in the eastern provinces of Khost, Paktika and Kunar, killing 13 civilians, including 11 children, one woman and one elderly man, and injuring 14 others.
