Afghanistan, March 13 -- The Taliban's Defense Ministry says it carried out drone strikes on Pakistani military positions in response to recent airstrikes inside Afghanistan. The ministry claimed the operation targeted military facilities in the Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to the Taliban Defense Ministry, a drone strike hit a military fort and a war command center in Kohat. The ministry released video footage on Friday that it said showed a drone flying toward the targeted locations.
