Afghanistan, July 9 -- Canadian pop star Justin Bieber will perform during the first halftime show in FIFA World Cup final history after FIFA and Global Citizen announced he had joined a lineup featuring Madonna, Shakira, BTS, Burna Boy, Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus performing with Coldplay.

The performance is scheduled for July 19 during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final at New York New Jersey Stadium, marking the first time FIFA has incorporated a dedicated halftime entertainment show into the tournament's championship match. Organizers said the performance will last 11 minutes, remaining within the traditional halftime interval to avoid delaying the match.
