Afghanistan, April 25 -- Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirms he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, saying the condition was treated successfully and he has fully recovered.
Channel 11 Israel reported that Benjamin Netanyahu was diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer and underwent radiation therapy treatment.
According to the report, Netanyahu had surgery in December 2024 for benign prostate enlargement, during which follow-up imaging revealed a small suspicious lesion later confirmed as cancer.
Medical assessments indicated the disease was detected at an early stage and had not spread, allowing doctors to choose between active monitoring or targeted radiation therapy.
