Afghanistan, March 2 -- Fire and thick black smoke were seen rising from the vicinity of the US Embassy in Kuwait on Monday after Iranian missile and drone strikes targeted multiple sites across Kuwait. Sirens sounded across parts of the capital as emergency teams rushed to the scene and authorities urged residents to remain indoors.

A witness living near the diplomatic compound said smoke was clearly visible over the neighbourhood shortly after dawn. Video circulated by international news agencies showed smoke billowing from inside the embassy grounds while alarms wailed in the background, heightening fears of further escalation in the region.
