Afghanistan, April 5 -- Iranian drone strikes hit oil, energy and government facilities in Kuwait, causing significant damage but no reported casualties, Kuwaiti authorities said.

Kuwaiti authorities said Iranian drone attacks struck oil, government and energy facilities in the country, causing significant material damage as regional tensions continued to rise.

Reuters reported late Saturday, citing Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, that a fire broke out at the Shuwaikh oil sector complex, which houses the Oil Ministry and the company's headquarters, following one of the attacks.
