Afghanistan, June 28 -- Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it launched a coordinated missile and drone attack against US military positions in Kuwait and Bahrain early Sunday, as the United States announced a new wave of airstrikes against Iranian military infrastructure following renewed attacks on commercial shipping near the Strait of Hormuz.
In a statement, the IRGC said naval and aerospace units targeted eight US military facilities, including Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait and the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, using ballistic missiles and attack drones.
