Afghanistan, June 20 -- Iran's parliament speaker has said negotiations with the United States will move forward only within the Islamic Republic's defined "red lines," stressing that Tehran will not retreat under pressure or accept what it describes as excessive demands from Washington.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said on Friday that talks between Tehran and Washington would continue according to principles and frameworks established by Iranian authorities. He emphasized that Iran would not compromise on what it considers its national interests during the negotiating process.
