Afghanistan, April 12 -- Iran has said more than 3,300 people were killed during joint U.S. and Israeli strikes, marking one of the deadliest escalations in the country's recent history.
According to Al Jazeera, Abbas Masjedi Arani said authorities have identified the bodies of 3,375 people killed in the US and Israeli strikes.
He added that the victims include 2,875 men and nearly 500 women, reflecting the broad civilian impact of the strikes across multiple country.
Masjedi said a number of foreign nationals were also among the dead, including migrants from Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, China, Iraq and Lebanon, though no precise figures were provided.
