Afghanistan, July 14 -- Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed early Tuesday that it launched a missile and drone attack on the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, marking another reported escalation in the military confrontation between Tehran and Washington.
In its third statement issued on Tuesday, the IRGC said its naval and aerospace forces carried out the strike during the second phase of the second wave of Operation Nasr 2, describing it as retaliation for recent US airstrikes on Iranian military targets.
