Afghanistan, Sept. 6 -- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held separate telephone conversations with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Saturday to discuss regional developments, bilateral issues and diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions, Iranian state media reported.

According to Iran's official reporting, the three foreign ministers also discussed the security situation in the Strait of Hormuz, a key international waterway that has remained at the center of regional tensions and diplomatic efforts.
