Afghanistan, Aug. 13 -- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has accused the United States of making incorrect assessments over developments in the region, warning that Washington could face a more serious miscalculation over the Strait of Hormuz.
Araghchi made the comments in a post on X, saying weaknesses in the collection and assessment of information had contributed to what he described as wrong US decisions. He said the problem was also reflected in Washington's approach to Iran.
The Iranian foreign minister said the situation around the Strait of Hormuz represented an even more serious potential miscalculation for the United States.
