Afghanistan, March 2 -- Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, has denied reports suggesting Tehran proposed negotiations with the United States.
In a post on X on Monday, March 2, Larijani said Iran would not enter into talks with Washington under current circumstances, dismissing earlier claims of diplomatic outreach.
He sharply criticized US President Donald Trump, accusing him of pushing the region toward chaos through what he described as "empty illusions." Larijani said Trump was now concerned about further American casualties.
