Afghanistan, Aug. 12 -- Iran's Agriculture Minister Gholam-Reza Nouri has arrived in Kabul at the head of an Iranian delegation for meetings with Kabul officials, Iran's embassy in Afghanistan said Wednesday.

The embassy said the delegation will meet with Taliban officials during the visit and will also tour the International Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition in Kabul.

The visit comes as Iran and Afghanistan maintain economic and trade ties, including cooperation in agriculture and the exchange of agricultural products.

Iran is among Afghanistan's major trading partners, and bilateral commerce includes imports and exports as well as efforts to expand markets for agricultural products and strengthen technical cooperation.
