Afghanistan, May 18 -- Mohsen Rezaei, a military adviser to Iran's supreme leader, said Sunday that the United States could launch military action against Iran within the next few days as tensions continue escalating in the region.
Speaking on Iranian state television, Rezaei said US President Donald Trump wants military confrontation but American military officials are concerned about possible casualties and the risk of US forces being captured.
The former Revolutionary Guards commander warned Washington against maintaining what he described as a naval blockade, saying Iranian armed forces are preparing to break it if necessary.
