Afghanistan, Aug. 13 -- A 17-year-old Indian-origin student has been charged with killing his mother and younger brother at their home in Acton, Massachusetts, after an overnight manhunt ended with his arrest, authorities said.
Arjun Aravind, a student at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, is accused of fatally assaulting his 45-year-old mother, Sudha Venkatesan, and his 14-year-old brother, Siddharth Aravind, inside the family's home on Tuesday. He faces two counts of murder, as well as assault and motor-vehicle-related charges, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office.
