Afghanistan, July 12 -- India has announced 1,000 online scholarships for Afghan students under the Special Scholarship Scheme for Afghan Nationals (SSSAN) for the 2026-27 academic year, expanding access to higher education through the country's e-Vidya Bharati (e-VB) digital learning platform.

The Embassy of India in Kabul said on Sunday that the scholarships are being offered by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) as part of India's continued educational support for Afghan nationals.
