Afghanistan, March 29 -- Herat traders have donated AFN 15 million to support war-affected people in Iran, with Afghanistan's private sector humanitarian efforts expected to continue.
National traders in Afghanistan's western Herat province have jointly donated 15 million Afghanis to support people in Iran affected by the recent war, local business officials said.
The Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment said the aid package was formally handed over to the Iranian Consulate in Herat as a gesture of solidarity with families harmed by the conflict.
