Afghanistan, May 18 -- At least 10 people, including women, men and a child, were killed after gunmen attacked a residential house in Puebla state in central Mexico, local authorities said Monday.
Officials said the attack took place in the city of Tehuitzingo during the early hours of the morning, when armed assailants opened fire on a house at around 1:55 a.m. local time.
Local residents reported hearing repeated gunfire during the attack, which left six men, three women and one child dead at the scene.
Prosecutors in Puebla state said an investigation has been launched into the killings, but no suspects have yet been arrested and the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
