Afghanistan, June 21 -- Germany plans to expand the deportation of Afghan nationals convicted of serious crimes, with authorities seeking to increase charter flights to Afghanistan to as many as three per month, according to German media reports.
The move would significantly accelerate Germany's deportation program, with around 100 Afghan nationals currently in German prisons awaiting removal orders. German authorities said deportations would continue through both charter and regular commercial flights.
