Afghanistan, June 22 -- The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said on Monday that the death toll from Israel's military campaign in the enclave has risen to 73,032 since the war began in October 2023, while the number of wounded has surpassed 173,000.

According to the ministry, 9 bodies and 41 injured people were brought to hospitals across Gaza during the past 24 hours. The ministry said the total number of injured since the start of the conflict has reached 173,357.

Health officials also reported that 1,021 Palestinians have been killed and 3,249 wounded since the ceasefire agreement reached last year, saying attacks and military operations have continued in parts of the territory despite efforts to reduce hostilities.
