Afghanistan, July 29 -- The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has reported that heavy rains, flash floods and landslides have killed at least three people and caused widespread damage across several provinces in Afghanistan.
In a report published on Wednesday, OCHA said recent weather-related disasters had affected Ghazni, Kapisa, Laghman, Logar, Nangarhar, Paktia, Paktika and Parwan, while Nuristan remained among the hardest-hit areas.
In Laghman province, flooding killed three people, injured four others and affected 187 families, according to OCHA.
